Yes - and my elder son has chosen this weekend to visit me! I can't make him listen to it, when I haven't seen him for a couple of months. It doesn't really matter - I went to see it, after all - but it would have been an interesting way to spend Saturday evening. Operas aren't on Listen Again.

I did manage to hear a lot of it, as son decided to go out for a drink with friends at 6.30, so I encouraged him. The broadcast confirmed my view that Ian Bostridge can't actually colour his voice, so he over-acts in compensation. I found it all too self-consciously "sung".
