I’ve just discovered I have a spare place for the last 3 parts of the ROH ‘Ring’ previews (26th  & 28th September at 1700 and 1st October at 1600).  One of us can only make it to ‘Rheingold’ – my fault really, as I neglected to warn him about the early starts for the longer dramas.  If anyone is interested in these, please drop me a PM and we can try to arrange something.

Full Story:

I bought two standing places and a cheap seat in the upper amphitheatre and the plan was to for each of us to use the seat for one act of each drama (we’re drawing lots for who gets to sit for ‘Rheingold’).  That would have been £9.50 per drama each and whoever wishes to take the spare place can join in on that basis (£28.50 for all three); or if they prefer to stand throughout at £4 per drama, I’m sure I and my remaining original companion can work out how to share 9 opportunities to sit without too much trouble!

Alas, I am busy elsewhere, or I would have given my eye teeth to see Sir John Tom in the prime of freshness in the role Sad  I hope you have a magnificent time.  Do please tell us your feelings after the cycle closes? Smiley
