Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Where the hell did you get that from?
The collected works of course. Incidentally, I was once putatively involved in a project which would have involved several composers setting words by Brecht, which in the end foundered on issues of permission, but that was the poem I had decided to work with. Quite a startling piece of work, eh?

You don't say.

I find the last couplet rather touchingly romantic, but then you might say I have weird tastes. It also reminds me of some of the stuff that goes on in this book, which I expect I've mentioned before around here.

I once wanted to write a novel about angels. Actually, I think I still do (want to). Some day.

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley
