Aberdeen, eh? How come the Met can get there but Glyndebourne can't?  Angry

Unfortunately these cost £25 a time - a bit extortionate after Glyndebourne's £7.50 bargains - and the ones that interest me already clash with something else: Parsifal at the ROH (R&J night); first night of Lucia at ENO (Manon Lescaut night); English Touring Opera's London dates (Peter Grimes night); Holy Saturday (Tristan night); Thomas Quasthoff and Bernarda Fink in recital at the Barbican (Boheme night) Sad

Oft hat ein Seufzer, deiner Harf' entflossen,
Ein süßer, heiliger Akkord von dir
Den Himmel beßrer Zeiten mir erschlossen,
Du holde Kunst, ich danke dir dafür!
