On the "Macbeth" thread on the Proms 2007 board earlier in the year, I mentioned that Chelsea Opera Group are giving a concert performance of the 1847 version on 29th March 2008 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall.

The main reason for this post is that I also mentioned that booking for this performance was scheduled to open, in accordance with usual COG booking policy, on the first Tuesday of February.

Subsequently, due to some sort of mix-up between COG and the South Bank Centre, the performance was "accidentally" released for booking last month.  I got an emergency mailing from COG the following day saying something along the lines of "We had no idea this was going to happen, but we're terribly sorry for the error and if you want a good seat we suggest you book now."  Indeed, the performance is already selling well.

IGI and anybody else who's planning to be at this performance on Saturday - do you fancy meeting up?

Definitely a good idea, Ruth! Beforehand or during the interval would be better than afterwards for me. Anybody else?

How about pre-concert in the NFT bar or the Hole in the Wall?
