During last Saturday's Bern premier of Marc Adam's production of
Wozzeck the orchestra stopped playing after the second scene. The members of the orchestra found that conductor Roman Brogli-Sacher wanted them to play too loud. After a short pause, they started again from scene one. Some people in the audience didn't approve of this, but according to the critic of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the performance did improve after the pause:
