The Les Noces is an absolute cracker. The score is wondrous enough on its own, but the choreography (and it's the original choreography) lets one savour just what a mould-breaking concept the whole enterprise really was. Highly recommended. L'Oiseau de Feu's pretty fine too, but what I still think of as Svadebka steals the show for me....

Absolutely, Ron. But let's not forget the 1945 Firebird Suite, conducted by Stravinsly, as an 'extra'. A superb DVD, I keep going back to it, again and again.

Don't expect the latest in audio quality though. ;-)

You'll need plentiful supplies of fags and black coffee, then, LB.....

(.......and don't forget that ballet people only know five positions.  Shocked )
