I have obtained two different options on seats for the 2009 Vienna ring cycle.  One option is at the back of a second tier box, number 9 - at "10 O'Clock" from the stage.  The other is at the back of the balcony, two levels directly above.

I'm delighted to have the choice but does anyone have any thoughts on which might be the better?  My only experiences in this house have been standing in the parterre.   The view from the box looks to be very restricted but with possibly more immediate sound.
