I will be there for this one, my first time at the Met, just bought my ticket for a seat in one of the Parterre Boxes. Should be amazing!!!  Smiley

You can come Ruth, however it will probably be aired on 3 at some point, but I'm on vacation in the New York area at that time, so might as well take advantage.

Good one Rob_G, hope you enjoy. I'm seeing Salome on the 26th September. 

If you get a chance, book for a back stage tour at the Met, its a great way to spend nearly two hours.

I doubt that Salome will be part of Opera on 3, working things out, the first Live from the Met should be on the 29th November at 5.30pm with La Damnation de Faust, (if R3 keep in sinc with the Mets Saturday Matinee Broadcasts).

However Salome is live in HD from the Met into cinemas across the globe on the 11th October at 6pm UK time.

Also as its the season premiere, I am pretty sure the performance will be broadcast live via the Met Web site, the Opening Night Gala the night before and the Pavarotti Tribute Concert on the 18th September are.
