Yes, M'Lord, something to look forward to indeed. I just adore the voice of David Daniels.

It could well be interesting but I would like to remind everyone of a quotation I took from a newspaper article about Handel's operas:

Don't the devout Handel fans ever yearn for a chorus or a vocal ensemble? Wouldn't they enjoy a bit more orchestral colour? Or even some dancing now and then?

With most of the men sounding much like women (and David Daniels is one of them), I often find myself longing to hear a tenor or bass voice just for a change.

I have warmed to his operas, Agrippina was superb and 'funnied up' by the eno, unsure if the innovative stage gags will translate well when it is on radio 3 Sad , this was a classic example of something that should have been captured on film.

mmmm, in future I shall move quicker to ask the eno if i can film something, you would think they would film all their productions, in an amateur way, just for reference, oooo, will email em... perhaps they do !
