They did, before, on the other board, people could listen to the concert and then discuss it after.

Lots of folk on these boards can not get to concerts so is a good way to simulate going, I find.

And may I point out your missing MY point that we need some child boards, obviously, one for Performance on 3.

I do believe that if you were not a troll you would say 'ah, yes, fair point, just need another section I suppose'.

That WAS MY point, a thread for 'Performance of 3' or 'Coming up On R3' instead of 365 threads  Cheesy

" Concert Hall section  ",far away from the radio 3 bit

I always thought that was related to live performances as it says

"The Concert Hall
concerts: been to, going to, performing in "

"That WAS MY point, a thread for 'Performance of 3' or 'Coming up On R3' instead of 365 threads "

ahh, you forget 'listen again', having a child board and titles of the particular concert date, time would make it easier and tidier to comment on that particular performance, especially as folk often miss something and then use listen again.

Would stop people jumping in on thursday and start talking about the monday performance which would confuse things.

Yes, but have one thread for 'Coming Up On R3' and then if extended discussion is wanted on any 'concert' then have a new thread - that won't create 365 threads.

fink i will carry on and see how michael reponds to the suggestion, in the suggestions section, about a performance on 3 sub section

think we could do with a 'composers' section too as folk are always coming back to that subject area

I appreciate that this might not have occurred to you, but without the composers there'd actually be no music to listen to or discuss in the first place.

LB, calling John W a troll is absolutely out of of order and you should withdraw your remark immediately. To refer to someone as a `troll` when they clearly are not is deeply offensive.

I know you are more than capable of defending yourself John,  but I felt the remark should not pass without comment.

Congrats on your `elevation`  by the way.

You don't need to click on 'this and that' Susan, as indicated in the helpful announcements, just bleb:

Congrats on your `elevation`  by the way.

Thanks Mort, I have been working with Michael all along, some folk may have guessed that, and hope I can continue to serve and be generally useful  Smiley

Mi Lord, don't worry about your comment (I know you won't anyway  Wink ) I was just trying to suggest that the board needs a bit of tidying and re-organisation, but needs to bed in for a while, see how things develop while trying to keep it tidy. I do agree that more talk about music, both on the radio and in general, would be welcome, and more of that activity I think would help in re-structuring the forum.
