2/2. The second of two concerts featuring Beethoven's 'late' string quartets, given last month at the Wigmore Hall, London.

Emerson String Quartet

Beethoven: Quartet in A minor, Op 132; Quartet in B flat, Op 130 (including Grosse Fugue, Op 133)

Am listening now, and rather loving it  Smiley

Georgie - yes, loved it. Apart from the cougher who took great pains to break the silence just after the beginning of the grosse fugue.

Do you think their playing standing up adds anything to the drama - musically or physically? Do others do this?
