not only do these poor japanese players have to put up with jetlag, they have a late night on top of it!
how do small, period instrument ensembles sound in the big space of the albert hall?

It's not that far from Bavaria, their previous pit stop Wink, but I agree, the group have generated a lot of interest in the UK  -  not least following their starring role in the R3 Bachathon  -  and it seems a bit mean to confine them to a late night slot.

I've been to a few late night period instrument performances, and have always found it sounds fine. I wouldn't want to be way up in the Gods....I don't know how it would sound up there, but it is fine in the arena or stalls.
