I have a dilemma about this. I want to start queueing at my early time, but I also want to see the Angela Hewitt PCM at 1pm. To do this I will obviously have to be away from the queue for more than half an hour, thereby relinquishing my place... what to do, what to do

Don't worry eru.  You still count as being in the queue if you're away for a Proms event.  By the time you need to leave for the concert, they should have raffle-ticketed anyway, besides which the "usual suspects" at the front of the day queue will defend your queue place if they know you're at Cadogan.  If in doubt, make sure a steward knows where you've gone.

I'm going to pick up a ticket at Cadogan at 10am and then I'll be joining the season ticket queue so I'll see you around Smiley

O, that's alright then!  Grin

There could be quite a queue at CH at 10am - or there should be anyway.  Roll Eyes

For me, this was a wonderful performance of Bruckner 4 - by far the most enthralling thing I've heard in this year's Proms. Played with evident love, but without a hint of self-indulgence. Much more engaging than the Eighth under Haitink, good as that was. Perhaps it really is true that the Viennese have Bruckner in their blood...

The long wait for a number 9 bus afterwards didn't bruise the glow in the slightest  Smiley

I think I'd like to record this - where do I find out when it will be re-broadcast? (on the radio, that is - no TV cameras were present  Shocked)
