Several outstanding PROMS in the past few days and I'm certainly grateful that TV coverage now  remains at RAH, allowing time for any encores before rolling the final credits.   I'm still not convinced that BBC TV give a fig for the arts and last night's technical coverage was unacceptable; a loss of picture twice and repeated clicks throughout the evening.   A gabbled voiceover told us about the revised scheduling at the end of the programme but no explanation or apology was given for the technical deficiencies but they made adequate time for the usual quota of promotional waffle.   I rerecorded the whole concert and the picture loss has been remedied.
