The total donated by Promenaders was:

£73,030.92.

This total includes the sum of £256.41 which was collected from the arena and gallery queues towards the Last Night presents and buttonholes.

Distributions were made to the following charities:

CLIC Sargent: £14,080
Musicians' Benevolent Fund: £31,820
Irene Taylor Trust (Music in Prisons): £14,500
Drake Music Project: £12,600.

Total £73,000

The cost of the Last Night presents and buttonholes was £199.88.

Administrative expenses totalled £1.18.

A small amount has been retained in a bank account to cover future expenses.

A copy of the accounts for the financial year 2008 will be available to those who wish to receive a copy following the first meeting of the Trustees in 2009.

We are now starting to think about next year's collection and would welcome fully costed proposals from music related charities before 31 January 2009.  Please PM me if you wish appropriate contact details to be passed to any specific organisation.
