I've only just had the opportunity to listen to any of the Proms using Freeview this year.  Does anyone else think the level of the broadcasts is significantly lower than what was broadcast previously?  Listening over the last few nights I've been conscious that the volume control on my amplifier is turned up much higher for other sources and much higher than I remember using for Radio 3 before.

Last night's Prom should certainly not have been lacking in dynamic range.
