We do seem to have a lot of white middle-aged males waving their hands and brandishing their batons on our front page. Is there a particular reason for this? Does it really sum up what these boards are about?

Heh, heh. Of course it's not what this board is ALL about, otherwise they would have been there from the start and there for always. Wink

I change the images every few weeks.

How about some composers, perhaps? (Ah, but which ones?)

Composers are currently featured in the sub-list for Radio 3 Popular Programming section. I expect many members never click to that sub-list.  Undecided

Perhaps members will have their own suggestions?  Wink

Indeed, anyone can submit a set of images; for the homepage try and get them sized at ~ 220 x 85 (which suits older monitors like mine Wink ) and put them somewhere in the photobucket, I can link them to the homepage.

Thanks opilec. Yeah I got lazy with that set, but it was the Barbirolli in the last 'mixed' set that got me going, and twas easy to get rectangles of conductors and their arms. Now if it was their rear-ends it would have to be square shaped images Grin which I recall didn't look so good on the homepage, and what message would that send to visitors  Roll Eyes

Thanks.

Another theme for the top images, all from the CBSO and photographer Adrian Burrows, clipped from this fine gallery:
