Would anyone be interested in this?

Basically it would be just another board here, but with each user having to ask for access to it.

I know some of you would rather stick to Radio 3 / Classical Music discussions, but it appears there may be a need for a discussion board so we don't have discussions such as the ballerina one spilling over onto the main board.

If you do not ask for access, you wouldn't even know the board existed, so anyone who doesn't want to get involved in the threads there doesn't even need to read them.

Because it would be a private board where access must be granted, it should remain out of the site of google spiders too, so anything there wouldn't be google searchable.

Anyone interested should either PM me or write down your suggestions.

Regards,

Michael.

If so, please spell argument correctly (without that extra 'e').
Also can you change the wrong spelling in 'sponsored links'?

Thanks,
Cathy

Hi Cathy,

I thought both had become acceptable nowadays (argument and arguement, that is) .

Quote
   arguement

The alternate spelling of the word 'argument' in British English, as with 'judgment' and 'judgement'.

Oh well, might as well change it.

Can't do a thing about sponsered though I'm afraid.

Where was that quote from I wonder? I don't regard it as an acceptable alternative when my students spell it like that, but maybe I'm an out of date fuddy duddy. Roll Eyes

Are you secretly Lyn Truss, Cathy?  :-)

That would be Lynne "don't know much grammar but very smug about apostrophes" Truss  Tongue

The woman can't even hyphenate the sub-title of her own book correctly!

(I know, she claims that it was her editor's doing... but still...)

She means well, I suppose.

Michael
Not sure I'd post a lot there myself, but it seems a(nother) very good idea. The flexibility of so many MB 'sections' is really useful - and it's tidy and logical.
