I lost the address for R3OK earlier today so did a yahoo search for it and suddenly realized that we are indeed talked about.  Some of it good, some it it bad, and some of it damn right ugly.  Cheesy

I thought it a good idea for us to see what some of those in the outside world think of our little community......... watch this space.  Smiley

This one is long winded, but trust me, there is lots and lots and lots about R3OK on this one.

"There's only one thing worse than being talked about..."

If my first encounter of R3OK had been the myreader post, I'd have sprinted round here straight away.

Agree with MySpace et al, but beyond that ithink the better pitch would be upmarket-Sequenza 21, BMIC, etc etc. Some radio 4 refugees might like being here too?

Michael, that 'message' was actually posted at uk.media.radio.bbc-r3 in the early hours of 18th February this year. If anyone wants to be severely bored, I suggest having a browse through that forum's messages of this year. Boredom can set in very quickly there.

Blimey! There are some very ill-tempered and downright rude comments about us from the Brown Board. `Nerdy`? Goggleheaded dullards`? (Hope I won`t have to pay royalties for those quotes). It`s an MB for chrissakes! Why the animosity? It`s all very reminiscent of .. hold on, it will come to me in a moment ... ah yes, the Beeb board!

Must have a lay down now. Writing that has exhausted my dullard brain .....

They, Morty? I would suspect at least one, if not both, were the work of some (L)lewd wag, but can't be bothered to search. Perhaps it was Anna?

Indeed Bryn. The Wag was the one penning the deathless prose. No change there then ..... Cheesy
