Hello, and thanks for the welcome!  I thought it was time to stop lurking.

About me - you might guess from my nickname I'm a violinist.  I often feel as if I don't know much about music aside from playing the violin, and I always learn something when I look at this messageboard, so thank you all for sharing your expertise!
