I'm not sure how we this works. Am I supposed to welcome myself, or will someone else do it for me in due course?

In case anyone wonders, Ravensbourne is a river, railway station and former telephone exchange (RAVensbourne) in south-east London.

Ravensbourne, normally someone spots that you've joined and starts a welcome thread. This time, you beat us to it! Welcome, and nice pic!  Smiley

And a further welcome from another purveyor of pictures. Ravensbourne was also an amp by Rogers, IIRC.

Thanks for introducing yourself Ravensbourne - sounds like a Hogwart's House Smiley

It's good that you posted; we've had 10 other new members in the last two weeks who seem to have been frightened off immediately  Shocked

Hope you've had a good look round, any technical issues, there are some helpful threads in the Board Usage section, the Welcome section and the Announcements section, but I see you've mastered the image paste facility so I think you'll settle in quick (we have a Photobucket account for personal images, smileys etc).

Looking forward to your postings on the music threads or the fun threads  Smiley

And welcome from me.

Tell us a bit about yourself, R.

There are quite a few composers here, some players, some writers, and then a lot people who just like music!

Have fun

I guess I'm just a guy who likes music.

I'm a keen amateur baritone, but work in the City. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of the BBC Proms and the Eurovision Song Concert!

Noted.  Apologies; I will have my proof-reader flogged; it shouldn't happen again.
