Welcome to zabriskie point who joins us today. An Antonini fan perhaps? Maybe you could put us in the picture Grin

Oh, I thought you meant, like, 'On a clear day I can see Poland!'

Warmest greetings, zp.      Yes, I too, recall Antonioni's 1969 flawed, stranger's-eye view of modern America, although it did have visual grandeur.  On a clear day you can see forever?

Hallo, Morticia,

thanks for the welcome. Also thanks for yesterday's welcome, I'll explain:
Yesterday I tried registering as irish-rover, but I completely messed up the e-mail address & so I never really made it as a rover.

I thought I'd give it another try, so I can be known under the present name. If you'd like to erase "irish-rover" so that somebody else can have a chance to appear as that, then that's fine with me, it's not as if I can log in with that name anyway.

Yes, I'm a big fan of Antonioni's films, not the later ones though. I have a feeling "Professione: reporter" -made in 1975 - was the last good film.

I like music as well, but by the size of this forum it'll be a while before I can really contribute something worth reading.

what does this preview button do ?

Gosh, tinners, we almost collided in  mid-air.    Over to David Bowie and space control.

Pardon me, Stanley. I was just on my way from the canyons to the moon.

More haste, less speed! (Or is it the other way round?)

Welcome once more ZP. It would seem the curse of the Irish Rover has struck again!
