Welcome, jonnyD!    Smiley       I've heard of Johnny Fedora (met Alice Blue bonnet in the window of a department store..) and am now agog to know your origin.  Even Surabaya Johnny doesn't fit the bill!

Remember him, Stanley? His Lyric Strings Play Music of the Sea-record was well known in the 1950s. I also have a good studio recording of Oklahoma conducted by him and I remember some nice Cole Porter arrangements.
