You all have got it wrong. The name is pronounced to rhyme with vichyssoise and cuisine chinois.

That's a bit too close to the annoying little fanfare that heralds a 'Correction' announcement over the PA at many South East and London train stations, Tommo. You should know, too.

On the other hand, it might just be a result of the long-term effects of trying to decipher bbm's '[psots', Mort: one can only take so much Manglish without becoming affected in some way or another. Wink
