Somewhere in the waffle thread some days ago was great excitement about the impending arrival of our 200th member.  I'm sure you'll be most welcome here - it's not all waffle and coffee fun, even if that accounts for the majority of posts.  Plenty of interesting folk here to talk about music!

It's quite simple really, and something spectacularly misunderstood by 'them' 'over there': allowing some waffle and chit-chat CREATES the sense of community and trust (and knowledge of fellow posters) which then in turn makes for confident and civil exchange of ideas. Easy-peasy!
