Hello. I'm following instructions and making my first post here. I listen to BBC 3 online sporadically, except during July-September, when I listen daily, or as often as I can, to the Proms. Being a resident of the USA, the Internet is my only means of receiving these programs, and I'm especially interested in the iPlayer and the bitrates of the broadcasts, and the Listen Again functions.

Welcome, BillyR.
I am glad we have a new member.
I live in Ireland, but I am not Irish and English is not my first language.
I am looking forward to know your views on what you hear on the radio 3 or what you are listening to in the USA or on any other subject.

Welcome BillyR. Good to have you here. You'll find a good smattering of other USA residents here.  Re iPlayer, you may want to have a look at reply 35 on the thread below. It was posted by someone who is more than au fait with iPlayer with the workings of iPlayer Wink Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Hello Billy R.

Welcome.  It's really good to have a newbie introduce themselves.  "Following instructions" is not a line that some of the bloody minded so-and-sos here really follow, but it is good that you are here.

What is it about the proms?
