Greetings SH.
Very good to 'see' you again.
Hope all is well with you and that you're still writing!
HH
Thanks. All's well, and no.
The two probably aren't unrelated Huh
I'm re-reading Barry MacSweeney (Wolf Tongue: Selected Poems 1965-2000 which takes me back a bit )
and reading Andrea Brady's Vacation of a Lifetime which I'd not encountered before, which is how out of touch I is.
Perhaps I should hit the Poetry thread Smiley

Perhaps you should, although I do wonder why we read the stuff.  49% seems set to depress us, 50% of it we could write better and 1% is enjoyable

Modified 22:22 so as not to frighten SH away but purely a personal opinion to Publishers as to why have they not signed me up?  I am dead good!

Which makes 100%.

I don't know. Perhaps most of it now is only read by poets & (of course) only written by poets who read it & then in a food chain of incessant, internal regurgitation ....

Break that food chain!

Do it yourself! ?

Looking for something. Finding something else.
Any scribble is too easily made
into a face. First there is flamboyant
use of space. Then the suspicion of an
awkwardness

I like that.

SH is my initials. I couldn't think of anything else. Years ago I only hit on the Julien Sorel thing because I used to be JS on the old BBC Message Boards and J is the first letter of my middle name (I have a middle name, Mum & Dad being in an expansive mood at the time). So JS was the first letter of my middle name followed by the first letter of my first name. Whereas SH is the first letter of my first name followed by the first letter of my last name.

I am deficient in imagination.
And I am imaginative in deficiency.

An imago native indefinitely.

Welcome back. Gentlemen and ladies, will you raise a shhhh for SH!
