I have just been listening to Lucy Duran's special on Greece.

The thought has struck me that the programme was worthy but a little
dull. I'm sure Andy would have made it more interesting.

On the other hand Lucy does seem to be better in Andy's format.

The point is that Andy is a natural journalist and I feel he really
has a heart for that and would enjoy it more.

Maybe if their roles were reversed there would be a more successful
outcome and I can imagine that we, the audience, would benefit
immensely.

Haven't had time to check out the full World Routes Greek programme but agree that the session featured in the AK slot by the Greek ensemble was wonderful. Martin Simpson was good too, he was also featured being interviewed by Mike Harding on his Radio 2 show last week ( still available on listen again ) with three further tracks from that cd played. Great song about his late father.
