For those of you a little confused by the Radio 3 board here is the
location of this week's playlist:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio3/lucyduran/pip/3psqu/

I must admit I had my doubts upon first listening to this programme.
But my second listen left Lucy fully justified.

The session by Kekele wasn't my favourite but it was rather good.

My absolute favourite was Charlie Gillett's pick 'Ejin Bogdin Hoyor
Jagel' by Urna and incidentally she was voice of the night for me.

Joint second favourites were 'Ehe Lebel' by Asnakech Worku and 'Pure
Playaz' by Young Grey Horse.

Pretty darn amazing all three were too.

Well, that's all folks!

Hi whs

I'm missing Andy's programmes. Lucy's are fine and a lot of the music is very good but there isn't the range of material that you'd find in an average AK prog.

Hi Andy!

I'm missing your namesake too. His sense of fun! He's one of those rare DJs that can make me laugh out loud. Each presenter is unique. They bring their own personal vision to the programmes. Andy has a very special vision. He is searching for a more just world and that's why I love him. I walk with him on that long journey. And he's such a bloody good journalist!!! All that and I haven't mentioned his vast knowledge and his ear for what's important in his own sphere of music.

Sincerely,
whs

I've now listened to most of Lucy's prog from Monday. There were several good moments and outstanding for me was Asnakech Worku's Ehe Lebel. But I've got to say that I thought the first item, Susheela Raman's version of Like a Rolling Stone, was dreadful, it ruined one of my favourite songs - I'll have to listen to Hendrix's version (which I prefer to Dylan's) to wipe hers from my memory.
