I'm listening to last night's Lucy D prog at the moment and there's been some great stuff on so far. I was starting to think that Mary Ann Kennedy would be the best replacement for Andy Kershaw but I found her Celtic Connections Festival programme last week pretty dull - though I suppose she had to do it, didn't she? Actually I'm quite happy with the mix of presenters that we've got at the moment, given that we won't be getting AK back.

One minor grump - I started my MD well before the start of the programme, then found that the tuner wasn't turned on - so I missed the Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan remix at the start. I've just grabbed it from LA so that will have to do I suppose. I've always loved Nusrat's voice, I even got to see him perform live once in Edgbaston, when I was one of only 5 white people there. A wonderful experience though, people were so welcoming. It's just a shame they weren't more welcoming to the Asian women present
