What can I say; A+ this week.

My favourite discovery was Walter Ferguson and what a voice for an 84 year old. I thought his song '72 weeds' was knockout.

A towering performance from Bob Dylan with 'The Chimes of Freedom Flashing'.

A smashing Willie Nelson and Ray Price with 'Lost Highway'.

And a fantastic Star Number One and 'Waalo'. That African Pearls series is tremendous.

The session from Julie Fowlis was lovely. Hoping to catch her at her Chester gig.

However every single track was a highlight in some way or another.

See you next week!

Haven't had a chance to listen to this edition but will hopefully try to work out where the Walter Ferguson track is on listen again to at least hear that, think I know the Dylan well enough although I notice it's a live performance.

Hi whs

I'm about half way through the programme and it sounds pretty good so far esp the Dylan.

Made the big mistake of recording it Hi-LP instead of Hi-SP on my minidisc recorder (ie 64kbps vs 256 kbps) - it's the music that counts tho, not the quality of the recording!
