Key session by gifted rapper K'Naan - even if he does sing off the top of his range sometimes. I know, I do it myself.
 
Track of the night was Orchestre Veve and 'Ah Ngai Matinda'. An ever changing kaleidoscope of sound.
 
Voice of the night was Nancy Kerr on Tim van Eyken's 'Gipsy Maid'.
 
Walter Ferguson was again excellent.
 
Reem Kelani, next week's guest, I remain to be convinced about.
 
What a towering ending to the show with Ras Michael Junior and 'My Prayer to Jah'.
 
Directly after the show in 'Through the Night' was my favourite Beethoven Piano Sonata Op 110, so that was a bit of a treat.

didn't like K'naan much when Andy first played him, but I've changed my mind since then, now think he's very good
