I think that is probably wise, Milly. But to give a rough idea, this is the first one I had and they haven't changed much since then.... Well it was there a moment ago!

Grumpy Rant Room is like Happy room now. There are beautiful babies, beautiful men and women. I love it here. I know I want to complain about something, but I kind of forgot what it was. I am sure there are a lot of things I could complain about, but not today somehow. I have Joanna MacGregor playing lunch time concert (Brazilian composers) from Wigmore Hall. It is a good programme, I love it, but where does one discuss that? I am sending you my love,

The Emperor suspected they were right. But he dared not stop and so on he walked, more proudly than ever. And his courtiers behind him held high the train... that wasn't there at all.

Well, Camden Market has been mentioned... we went there and there were lettuces and jeans, and not a lot else. I thought it was an antique market...? who wants antique lettuce?
And... I went to Oxford Street with my daughters today... in order to cross Regent Street at Oxford Circus it was quicker to walk into Top Shop and out of the adjacent door. There was no room to stand never mind move.
Absolute hell .
Rant over.

Gawd, if you think it's bad now, A, wait until Christmas, and pity the poor souls working the nearby Palladium on the Saturdays which precede it, who have to allow about half an hour to get from the tube to the Stage Door...

Aw I've done Christmas Ron, but this was just a Saturday, and only lunchtime - not afternoon really!! Mind you, ask S'Wave about the Trafford Centre on a Saturday afternoon... not a pretty sight!! Does anyone know about Camden Market? did we find the right place? ... near Angel underground? I had been informed (from the internet ) that it was an antiques market... that is most certainly wasn't ! and , yes we did go on the right day! A

Camden Town or Chalk Farm tube stations, A, for the (various) Camden Markets. http://www.camdenmarkets.org/ Even so, I'm still puzzled by the glut of lettuce in Camden Passage (Islington). Whenever I've been the lettuce-mongers have usually been considerably outnumbered by the (overpriced) antique shops.

A,
I feel about Oxford Street what S`wave feels about the TC! The best way to `hit` Oxford St is to get there about 9.30 weekdays when it`s pretty clear, get in, get what you want and get the hell out before midday, at the latest, before the aimlessly ambling tourists get there.
Best of luck.

Thank you George and Ron, It seems we went to the wrong place. I looked on the internet and it said Angel was the underground to go to... obviously not! When we have got over the shock of the pretty awful morning we had ( not even any decent pubs open!) we will try again !! Thanks A.. and him

'mornin' milly! Good job you didn't HAVE to get up this morning then !! Missing the clocks going forward always has the same feel about it as when I was teaching and it was 'own clothes day' I used to set out merrily in jeans, t shirt and trainers and not be at all happy until I saw some of the pupils also in ordinary clothes... or should I say in the other uniform they all wear... jeans, t shirt etc !! Hope you have caught up now !! A
