Yes, it is not good. However, many passangers will decide not to travel.
Many more have no choice.

Then again if one takes the pessimistic view, then at least you won't be disappointed when things actually do go pear-shaped. Won't stop you being monumentally hacked off though

Has anybody else noticed that this MB is working really slowly today?

Whenever I got to an airport/anywhere I might reasonably expect to be kept waiting for several, I try to make sure I have as many time-passing devices on my person as possible (books, mp3 player, &c.).

Has anybody else noticed that this MB is working really slowly today? That'll be the Hungarians I would imagine. Or the Russians.

I am working for disinformation office. I know a lot about technology to do a lot of damage.
Also on the subject of travel. increpatio, you reminded me saying that it is better not to expect bad things. If they will happen they will, otherwise it is all right not to play this scenario in your brain. I have to write it here on the wall somewhere.

Well the Germans were having a good bit of that kind of (in)action on the ICE track between Frankfurt Airport and Siegburg/Bonn, for what it's worth... Authorities have refused to rule out a link.

I could'nt believe my eyes, when I heard that Black Dyke Band, came 6th at the British Open BB Championships! Apperantly, according to 4barsrest.com(an internet bb newspaper site), they thought that they would come 1st. Foden's won it! O well. I hope that Nicholas J Childs, be ok and at the helm for the rest of the season. Have to wait and see, I suppose.

Black Dyke were overconfident perhaps? They do have a strong reputation, but surely in the world of music (unlike league footy) you're only as good as your last performance.

I could'nt believe my eyes, when I heard
bbm, you really do have a way with words! Never change! Despite Durham's recent association with the world of brass bands, I've not really got into it and don't really understand the competitive aspects. Surely it's a good thing that there is change at the top?

O yes, hh, compektely agree with you there But its like footie in a way. I am a fan of 'Dyke', (Pondashers as we are called), so when they don't do well, you can see what I mean!
KB, yes, true. The piece in question is an allusion of ideas and quaotes from other composers in the bb world, but done in the composer's own style, So maybe Dyke wasn't true to the comnposer's intentions, I suppose.
