martle, you mindreader!
Yes, I very nearly added that to the list, though eventually omitted it under the impression that it would mean nothing to most members.
(After seeing the concert in Brighton which contained one of martle's pieces earlier this year, and having managed to obtain a very early morning flight back to Edinburgh for next to nothing, I decided to doss overnight at the airport rather than check into a hotel for a few hours. Was lucky enough to find a comfortable armchair in a quiet area, but, yes, with the interest of my fellow passengers at heart, I ensured that I'd had a thorough scrub-down with wipes and a change of clothing before checking-in.)

Bugler. I've just discovered that a much-loved, relatively little-worn and rather expensive jumper of mine has got holes in it. Three or four of them in a row across the front. Have I got moths as well as a damaged cashmere?

Just got into bed and, not only has the bulb in my lamp gone, but the fuse seems to have gone too. Have no spares in the flat, and don't actually like the lamp anyway, so I'm not sure I can be bothered messing around now, but it's still rather annoying.

I've got an electrical fault on my garage/utility room circuit. The workmen plugged something into the garage and the whole house shorted. Computer - all the clocks, the lot. Testing it out, it also happened when I switched on the outside light. I've rung the electrician and he's coming at 9.30 ....tomorrow! Better than nothing I suppose.

I bought a different brand of muesli recently and it's so sweet! I want to throw it away and buy the same brand as I had before, but I just can't bring myself to do it... Worse things happen at sea I suppose.

Buy the old brand now, hh, and bolster it with just a little of the sweeter one - not enough to aggravate you, but enough so that you can get by without wasting it.
