Well I like Stilton.  Especially on chocolate digestives.

Yes, I don't get many offers like that to the pound these days.  Shocked

Not too bad, thanks Mort. A little more perky, but surrounded by disgusting tissues and brain feeling like cheese. (Not soup.)

Mmm cheeeeese.....

There's definitely a bug around that does that to you at the moment. When I was off with a cold the other day I almost thought I was losing my mind. Then a colleague was off with it as well and I rang him when he returned to work to ask him a couple of questions.  The reponses were along the lines of "eeeeer...... what?"

I was so glad it wasn't just me.  Cheesy

his opinion of Joan Sutherland was trenchant.  I owe a lot to him, including my copy of the Graduale Romanum.
As straight as they come, then? Wink

Now spinning: Xenakis - Orchestral Music vol.5 conducted by Arturo Tamayo. Absolutely superb, and extremely valuable to have good new recordings of his earliest acknowledged orchestral and ensemble music like Pithoprakta and Achorrhipsis.

What's the grump then?

That the liner notes, as if it weren't bad enough that they're the usual superficialities peddled by Harry Halbreich, have been translated by someone who knows nothing about music, let alone Xenakis, into unreadably bad English. Why does this still happen so often? I'd rather the label didn't bother, saved their money for something more useful, and let us battle our way through the French (the French language I mean, of course).

I originally read that as magpie and ginger Shocked However having adjusted my eyes/brain (maybe), bbm, do you mean you had Blue Stilton with mango and ginger? That sounds as bizzare as magpie!
