Hi everyone,
Just letting you know that the latest programme/download on Stage and Screen Online (http://www.stageandscreenonline.com) is an interview with Mark Fitz-Gerald, who has reconstructed, arranged and conducted Shostakovich's second film score, Odna (Alone) on a new Naxos disc.

Mark talks about how he reconstructed the score from the original film stock as well as from existing manuscripts and explains how Shostakovich wrote his score for Odna, which was to be Russia's first ever sound film.

The interview includes clips from the Naxos recording.

It's 28 mins long and completely free to listen to or download.

Hope you enjoy it!

best wishes,
Tommy
