Well, I'll give it a listen out of curiousity. Radio 2 at 1900 tonight, Classical City to City. "Comedian and musician Tim Minchin presents a Eurocentric music feast exploring classical music's debt to the cultures of Venice, Vienna, Paris and London since the 16th century" states Radio Times. Four half hour episodes, Venice tonight.

It wasn't absolutely dreadful but was pretty basic stuff. Not that anything else would have been expected on that channel in that time slot. What was a bit silly was that none of the music was specifically identified for the benefit of a passing newbie who might have wanted to investigate further. Sound bites from bods out of I Fagiolini and Red Priest, predictable contributors on such a programme.
