I can't remember what she was wearing last time she played for us and it wasn't her looks that impressed us.  But she came across as a very charming person as well as a wonderfully talented musician.  When signing CDs, for example, she had a cheery greeting for everyone in the queue and seemed happy to exchange a few sentences with anyone.  Perhaps some artists learn this in PR school but it's by no means universal.  I don't think it's easy to fake the kind of warm personality she presents to her public.

May be I am wrong, but I don't think people can learn to be sincere. Some times one can be wrong who is genuine and who is not sincere. I like to see that if one is geniunely friendly and nice people can feel it.

Thank you HtoHe.

Perhaps it would be more interesting if she played some other repertoire, but may be one has to do what one feels. I don't know.
I was thinking lately that her programs look a little blunt and predictable.
I personally like her playing very much (I only heard her recorded performances, not life).

Peter Grimes,
Do you think the name Fazioli means kidney beans?

Maybe she has her finger on the pulse!

Before I get me coat, here's some confirmation I found about AH's preferences for that particular instrument.
