Well, it was taken by an extremely good photographer!

It's a good photo of Rebecca anyway (and that was its point). It's perhaps not quite such a good one of me. I look as though I have light streaming out of my nose.

It is a good title, George.
This instrument looks like saxophone and not a clarinet, but then what do I know.

There are good pictures of John Adams conducting on the site Ollie posted, but one can not post it here.

I am posting this casual picture that will be scrutinized by posterity.

I was imagining something more along the lines of a female Blofeld, who threatens her players with being extinguished by lazer beams if that circular breathing lets up for even a second?

There's a stellar photo of Dillon's spectacular mane in the booklet of the NMC disc with "Windows and Canopies" and "La femme insivible" on it.  Alas for lack of scanning facilities those without access to this disc will have to use their imaginations.

At least his neck will be warm during those harsh Minnesota winters.

'Rebecca Saunders cheekily makes an attempt to wreck Oliver Sudden's unblemished record of never giggling  with a saxophone in his mouth, and almost succeeds.'

(Plus Rebecca S seems to have a shaft of light bursting through her chest - is this just to make the point to OS that she is holier than him?)

Hmm, Adams has a really naff sweater on in that pic from t-p a few messages back.

If you're going to do the baggy woolens thing, learn from the master:

When the picture below was included on the cover of Paul Griffiths's book on Messiaen, we were informed that the scarf this composer adorns emerges from the knitting skills of one Yvonne Loriod:
