Mozart Violin Concerto No.3 in G.  Second Movement.  Notes 7 onwards are definitely Billy Joel's Uptown Girl.

I know I am really late with this comment but I used to play a very good rhythm game with infants to the music of Hall of the mountain King... which at the time was the advert for Alton Towers ( so I cashed in on this, at least I could tell them what it was!)
BUT when I asked if they had heard it,  it was quite common for them to say 'It's the advert for Gulliver's Kingdom...' (another theme park nearby) - so much for advertising!!

Hall of the Mountain King is now forever "Hundred of Norwegians on the London Underground"  after Kit and the Widow got their hands on it.

Anyone else spotted the Mexican Hat Dance make a cameo appearance in Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto (1st mt)?
