Super opera - wish there was a modern recording or a staging in the UK. I have a copy of the old Nebolsin/ Bolshoi recording on mp3 - for anyone who loves the orchestral suite, I would urge them to hear the entire opera.

Thanks IGI. I will investigate at least the suite of music fromTsar Saltan as I'm very fond of Rimsky-Korsakov, including a recording of the suite for Kitezh (right spelling this time) which I captured off ClassicFM last year.
