My mistake with the Grieg (although it is LA danse du Puck.)

Could the Grieg be something for a FLUTE?

Grieg bears a distinct similarity to the Debussy... Wink

Yes, indeed. Just Peterson-Berger to go - a song.

Well done, you got there!

Grieg – Puck, lyric piece for piano, Op. 71/3
Warlock - Robin Goodfellow
Vaughan Williams - Over Hill, Over Dale
Debussy – La danse de Puck
Montague Phillips – A Shakespearean Scherzo, for orchestra ("Titania and her Elvish Court")
Korngold – A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Weber – Oberon
Peterson-Berger – Titania
Mendelssohn – A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Britten – A Midsummer Night’s Dream
Liza Lehmann – Cobweb Castle or Titania’s Cradle

    Gentles, do not reprehend:
If you pardon, we will mend.
And, as I’m an honest Puck,
    If we have unearned luck
Now to ’scape the serpent’s tongue,
    We will make amends ere long;
Else the Puck a liar call:
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
And Robin shall restore amends.  [Exit.

Thanks, IGI! Just remembered 'Je suis Titania' from Thomas's MIGNON. Midnight soon here, where the summer has already started! Night all!

I've missed the fun!

Even worse (as I felt miffed) I've now noticed that in message #1828 I'd suggested Shakespeare but hadn't notice in #1829 that IGI said Good......
