Not Perichole. The Ibert was suggested not so long ago in a previous connection...  Wink

Offenbach
Tchaikovsky – Undine and The Sleeping Beauty
Rimsky-Korsakov - Scheherazade
Liszt
Ibert

Now, are these pieces ringing any bells?

According to Wikipedia (which I know is cheating) Offenbach wrote a Daphnis et Chloe

Another source explains that 'it shows Pan thwarted in a sneaky attempt to teach Chloe the art of love—and ends with a riproaring, garter-snapping cancan.' Sounds fun!!
