Just two to go, then:

Verdi – Il balen del suo sorriso (Il Trovatore)
Schubert
Poulenc - Homme au sourire tendre... (La fraîcheur et le feu)
Peterson-Berger
Messiaen - Un sourire
Binge – I like your smile
Lehár – The Land of Smiles

Nicolai Gedda might give you a hand searching for the P-B...in fact, 'You smile' is the start of the song... 'You smile with your white teeth', hence the  Grin clue!!

I suppose that 'Lachen und Weinen' would fit, Ollie!  Smiley

The full line-up before I retire for the night:

Verdi – Il balen del suo sorriso (Il Trovatore) or Io la vidi, e il suo sorriso (Don Carlo)
Schubert - Wiedersehen ‘Der Frühlingssonne holdes Lächeln’
Poulenc - Homme au sourire tendre... (La fraîcheur et le feu)
Peterson-Berger - You smile with your white teeth
Messiaen - Un sourire
Binge – I like your smile
Lehár – The Land of Smiles

See, it's not just on the Waffle thread that fun can be had with smilies...    Cheesy

Night all.

The Binge is asking for a typo, along the lines of "I'm like your simile" ...

...or 'I like your smilies'!  Cheesy

A squeezer with a difference. There are nine composers here and the first letter of each of the works I’m looking for will give the name of another work by one of them. The work I am looking for is made up of two words (three letters and six letters). The composers are NOT in the correct order. They are all titles of works, so no drilling required! As a clue I can tell you one of the works begins with an O.

Finzi
Verdi
Maxwell Davies
Delius
Sibelius
Gliere
Purcell
Copland
Schoenberg

Hmm, are we allowed to guess the work, 3words + 6words, and then figure out the others?  Cool
