Oops, I left out the Gliere. Not Sireny but an obscure piece. We still need one more vowel and it's one we already have.

Not a King, but... Delius isn't right either/

(Obviously the definite article is not included if it appears at the beginning of a work's title.)

Here's a little puzzle for the late evening. Link these seven:

Vivaldi
Zappa
Saint-Saëns
Holst
Bartók
Johann Strauss II
Delius

Have fun!  Wink

Vivaldi - The Red Priest(!?!)
Zappa Orange Claw Hammer
Saint-Saens La Princesse Jaune
Holst Brook Green Suite
Bartok Bluebeard's Castle
Johann Strauss II Indigo and the Forty Thieves
Delius The Violet

Trouble is, I've got eight letters that I can't do much with....hint - is the 'hidden work' which is 3-6 preceded by a 'The'?

They are not English words (but you will recognise them, I'm sure). Giving the language would probably give the game away. Hint: he is not the only composer to have written a piece with this title.

If you don't get the connection in the next few minutes I'll tell you the language...
