Not the sea/ water....but you're not a thousand miles (or leagues) away.... Britten - Sea Pictures
I'm sure you mean Elgar?! Warning..there is a pun involved somewhere!

Not much difference between a picture and an interlude in some hands!

Takemitsu - I hear the water dreaming Britten - Sea Pictures Schubert - Songs to be sung on the water (Auf dem Wasser zu singen) Bernstein - On the waterfront.
The Britten is operatic.

The Britten is operatic. It isn't as simple as me correcting the sea pictures to sea interludes, is it?

No, none of the pieces are correct...you need to cast your net a little wider. The Schubert is a song, the Bernstein orchestral and the Takemitsu chamber.

You're not fishing for clues, are you? Can you identify any of the others?

No, you need to dig (dip?) a bit deeper to find the Takemitsu. The Bernstein requires your best punning skills, I'm afraid!
Takemitsu Britten – Albert Herring Schubert – Die Forelle Bernstein
