Big mug of tea, which is very welcome after an unusually busy day entertaining people who came round and stayed many more hours than expected!  Grin

  No lemon.

Good. It should always be lime, without exception.  Grin

2003 Crozes-Hermitage (Domaine Michelas-St Jemms)

Not at all sure what any of that means apart from NOMMAROONEY!

Tommo

PS  Is 'Nom' exclusively for food, or does it cover drink as well?  What is the correct drink expression?  And where does soup fit in?

As the Americans often say, "Shut up and eat your soup!"  So perhaps soup should be "munching" rather than "sipping"?

I'm on Lucozade.  Sad

Went to the pub with my brother tonight - the New Inn in Harborne:

and for some part of the evening we were the only customers in the place! At least it meant it was nice and quiet.

Edit: how remiss of me, I didn't edit the photo before I posted it, I hate crooked pictures Embarrassed

I read in the paper on Saturday that a survey was carried out on the number of people that dont go to pubs anymore. I find that hard to believe with the said number of 20 million! Or maybe 2 million people. The pub where myself and MrsBBM went to on Sunday night was quite  busy with a quick turnover of customers. I suppose it really means what type of pub, wether it be a 'gastro' pub or an ordinary drinking pub.

Gosh. It seems to be beer o'clock. Luckily, there are a few of these in the fridge.

Marty, I think the revelation was draught Budweiser in Czechoslovakia in Cafe Europa with a plate of salami, cornichons, rye bread and butter.
