Don't have nightmares.

The idea of my bed and  welcoming pillows is beckoning. I cannot resist. May Morpheus treat you all well.

I've been holding on listening to the end of Die Walküre but now the RING OF FIRE and Loge's lovely [camp] tinkly music summons me to my bed.

Loge's lovely [camp] tinkly music summons me to my bed.

I'd never thought of it like that.

The Magic Fire music is quoted in Robin Holloway's opera Clarissa, which you might like, Don.

And good night from me, too.  Richardson's Clarissa is one of those works I started when young, and have never finished.  It is the novelistic answer to the Ring.  I guess Robin H cuts it down to size?

I thought I had probably better bow out before I become entangled in a midnight battle with IGI and Reiner on the Opera Quiz thread Cheesy

Itinerary for tomorrow is as follows:
Work.  Complete with deadline to be met.  Must be there early as I also need to be able to get away with spending some time on the Royal Festival Hall's booking system around 9am, without upsetting my boss.
Colleague's leaving do (possibly)
OR Prom (possibly)

In any case, I had better go to bed.

And so... goodnight, unto you all.

It's probably about time I headed towards my bed. I don't think I've achieved all that much today but at least I've started wrestling with this piece again. Should be largely all over bar the shouting (i.e. some little notational experiments I'll be making so that I can send different versions to the player) by the end of tomorrow I'd have thought. Saving emergencies of course.
So good night.
